Bhopal: Process for admissions has begun in Government and private colleges at under graduate and post graduate level from first week of June. Second phase of admission process is in progress. A total of 91,413 students have reported in colleges for under graduate courses till June end and out of these 89,363 students took admissions in the colleges. Similarly at post graduate level, 26,502 students have reported in the colleges and 24,384 students took admissions in the colleges. In the interest of the students, the department has extended the date for depositing admission fee till June 28, 2017 under the first phase. Similarly, student registration charge has been reduced to Rs 100 from Rs 250.

Under the Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana, a total of 10,865 students have availed free admission benefit for under graduate courses till date. In most of the cases, fee paid by the students towards admission in the colleges was reimbursed to their respective bank accounts under the scheme. Process to reimburse fee to the remaining students is in progress.

In the welfare of the students, directives have been issued to the State Bank of India that admission fee deposited online by the students more than once due to technical problem under the first phase should be reimbursed in their bank accounts.

Seat allotment process at under graduate level is in progress under second phase of admission process. Seat allotment at post graduate level has been undertaken and process to deposit admission fee is under way. Under the second phase, the last date for depositing fee has been fixed as July 17 and 12 for UG and PG courses respectively. CLC process at college level will be conducted as per the prescribed admission time table under the third phase.
