Bhopal: An amount of Rs 53.16 crore has been paid towards the fee of 27,116 students till January 12 under the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Protsahan Yojana. A total of 28,088 applications were received under the scheme and out of these, 27 thousand 197 applications have been approved. The approved applications include 2 of IIM, 187 of Technical Education, 32 of IIT, NIT, NIFT and SPA situated in Madhya Pradesh and 171 of these institutes located outside the state. Similarly, 24 applications of CLAT, 23 of JEE Rank (Private Colleges situated out of State), 618 of Medical, 25,873 of Higher Education and 267 of other subjects have been approved.

Under the scheme, Pawan Mandloi of Khargone got admission in Arbindo Institute of Medical Science -Indore through NEET. Shubhangi Bagre of Bhopal, Anugya Mukati of Indore through CLAT and Shreyansh Thakur of Seoni got admissions in School of Planning and Architecture-Bhopal, NILU-Bhopal and IIT- Indore respectively. Beside these students, the fee of all other selected students has been paid under the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Protsahan Yojana.
