Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan presided over the cabinet meeting here today. An administrative sanction of Rs 435.97 crore was given for construction of first phase of hospital having 2,000 beds in the Gandhi Medical College Bhopal premises. Moreover, cabinet has given its approval for upgradation of 100 bed Annuppur district hospital to 200 beds and creation of additional 52 posts, upgradation of sub health center of Pasan to primary health center and creation of 7 additional posts, new establishment of sub health centers at Majhgawa, Silodi and Belsara villages and creation of three ANM posts.
Cabinet has approved establishment of commerce, science and art faculties in district Gwalior, art and science faculties in Umariapan district Katni, art faculty in Keshwahi district Shahdol and art faculty in Rajnagar district Anupnagar besides establishment of new colleges. As per the decision, commencing of geography and chemistry PG classes at Government College Jaitpur, political science and chemistry PG classes at government Jaisinghnagar College. Besides establishment of science faculty at government college Pushparajgarh district Anuppur, science and commerce faculties at government college Badwara district Katni and commerce and science faculties of graduation level at government college Bijuri district Anuppur. An approval to create 74 academic and 72 non-academic posts has been given by the cabinet.
Besides giving approval to the formation of nagar parishad Manpur district Umaria, nagar parishad Bakho district Shahdol, nagar parishad Rajnagar district Anuppur and nagar parishad Dumarkachaar district Anuppur, cabinet has given its recommendations to notify these parishads.
Similarly, cabinet giving approval to the formation of nagar parishad Mohna district Gwalior, nagar parishad Bhiansoda district Mandsaur, nagar parishad Kesli district Sagar and nagar parishad Semri district Hoshangabad has given its recommendations to notify these parishads.
In order to encourage development in decentralized renewable energy based electricity projects, to reduce dependence on traditional resources of energy, to reduce carbon emission and to develop solution for conventional energy for future, cabinet has given its approval for Madhya Pradesh Decentralized Renewable Energy Policy 2016.Thsi policy has been framed to make people understand the importance of reasonable consumption of energy and to include them in the process to reduce dependence on the production energy through traditional resources.
