'Discover More' of Discovery launched

Bhopal: World's leading non-fiction channel Discovery has launched its new programme 'Discover More' every night at 8 pm to showcase packed enthralling programmes. “Embodying a sense of imagination and exhilaration, the one hour time-band will showcase breathtaking natural events, pioneering medical science, innovative future technologies, remote geographies, engineering marvels, mega constructions and much more,” said Rajiv Bakshi, Director, Marketing, India, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific at a press meet here today.
Claiming the channel as 'different from others', Bakshi said that the channel aimed to satisfy the curiosity of Indian television viewers and the new episode would offer captivating and incomparable blend of programmes that would stimulate viewers' mind and take them to world of endless possibilities. Bakshi said the episode, which would continue for six months, included series like 'Nature's Greatest Wonders', 'Human body: Pushing Limits', 'Monsters Inside Me', 'Extreme Bodies', 'Megabuilders', 'Science Frontiers' and 'How Do They Do It'. To a query, Bakshi said the channel, which was launched in 1985, was spending lot of money on various programmes.
