Eight SIMI activists flee from jail, gunned down

Bhopal: Eight members of the banned Students of Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) were gunned down in the outskirts of the State capital within eight hours after they escaped from the Bhopal Central Jail, which is ISO certified. Three irrigation projects sanctioned

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan chaired meeting of Narmada Control Board today. An administrative sanction was given for three irrigation projects worth Rs 658.96 crore in the meeting. These projects will facilitate irrigation in 39 thousand hectare land. Beside this, tender for two irrigation projects costing Rs 911.62 crore has been approved.
